Serviced car same day I called. Did not charge due to part malfunction under warranty, won't even charge labor. Very trustful people

Always a great experience
This is the WORST customer service I have experienced in a long, long time. I dropped my car off on a Thursday, as my usual mechanic referred me to this place. My car was making an unusual noise, and he suggested I bring it here because he couldn't figure it out. I heard nothing from them for over a day (even after they said they'd let me know "soon"), so I called on Friday afternoon. The man said I needed exhaust and brake work. Fine. I asked how much it would cost. He said he would put a price together and call me back. He does not call me back. I call Saturday morning and a different man says he was informed that I'd be coming by to "pick the car up." I asked if work was performed (without my consent) or not. He didn't know. So I went over and picked it up. Nothing had been done. Fine. I call Monday morning to see if a price had been put together. It had not. The man said for me to call back later in the day, and assured me he'd have it done. I call at around 5:00. He still hadn't done it. He asks that I call "first thing next morning" and he'd have it done. So I call first thng the next morning. Shocker, he still hasn't done it. He says he'll "put it together immediately and call me right back." He does not call me right back. I call at 3:00. He says he still hasn't done it, and again assures me he'd call me right back. He does not call me back. I did not call back either. I have never been jerked around so much by a business in my life. DO NOT go to this place if you want work done on your car. They'll keep it for 2 days and not do anything. I guess they don't want to make money from me. That's fine, I'll gleefully take it elsewhere from now on.
My go to repair shop, even now that I live in Norwood. My family has been going to Kenny for years, and his repairs are reliable, priced fairly, and done as quickly as he can get parts.
